Christmas!

We spent Christmas with the Sorensens this year, and had a blast! We ate lots of yummy food and played lots of games, watched movies and had a sleep over:) Ty spoiled me this Christmas with lots of fun stuff. I love him! We celebrated tonight with my family because they just got home from Hawaii! It was fun eating and hanging out with them again (ONE week is a really long time for me not to see them haha). We will celebrate again when Ty sister Amy and her family come in town this week:) I love this season!!

Christmas Parties and Gingerbread Houses!

I love this time of year!! It's already been crazy as ever, but so fun! I finished school on Thursday! :) and have started my internship. It's been fun but a little stressful getting the hang of things! I had a Christmas party with most of my girlfriends from highschool this weekend.. It was so fun hanging out with them!! Everyone was there except ang (she is in Germany on a mission!) Then we had the Anderson family Christmas party. We got in groups and raced santa sleighs... Ours was awesome, but didn't win.. o well.. next year Rach and Steph!! we did white elephants, had a nativity program and ate good food! Then we made gingerbreads with my grandma and some of my cousins. We do this every year and its so fun!! We have been busy this weekend but cant wait for more! I love Christmas:)

Thanksgiving!

This year for Thanksgiving we had lots of family in town! It was so much fun and I am so sad the break is over. I didn't have school or work so it was nice being able to spend lots of time with the family!! We did lots of shopping, eating out (We went to cafe rio sooo many times), cooking, playing games, preparing for BLACK FRIDAY, made tu tu's, family pictures, and played more games! I have the greatest familY!

Best Week!!

This last week was soooo much fun! We waited a LONG time for it to come! On Wed we went to the Carrie Underwood concert, me, Bryton, My sis Brooke, her friend Rachel, and my cousin Aly! It was the best concert ever! I love her and can't wait till she comes back. It was a blast:) Then... Twilight at MIDNIGHT!! the next night:) I love love love the movie! We were so excited, and yes Bryton and I got matching shirts:)! We had lots of caffeine so we could stay awake. But with all the screaming and laughing it wasn't hard. It was awesome! The husbands stayed home and played medal of honor all night on the wii and played till we got home! I thought for sure they would fall asleep. Then Fri. night we saw Twilight AGAIN!! and Ty came with me:) I can't wait till number 2 comes out! I'm a Twilight nerd.. I think I get to into it:) I do like the book a lot better and even though the movie was cheesy I would see it over and over again! Thanks girls for the best week!

Not much going on!

Not much has been going on lately! But it's been awhile since ive blogged! We went to dinner with some of my family last night! It was lots of fun.. as always. Ty and I have been super busy with school and work. I never see Ty until the weekend.. I really hate it. But I guess thats our life right now. I only have ONE week left of school and then finals after Thanksgiving. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. It's been so much fun, but will be nice to be done. My last day of work is THURSDAY!!! I am soooooo excited. It will be so nice to have a break for 2 weeks before I start my internship:) and Ty is just ready for the Christmas break! I am excited to hang out with him and not have to worry about homework. YAY!! Life is good:)

Lone Peak made it to the playoffs in 2nd place!! I know I already posted about my brother but I just wanted to tell him good luck tomorrow against Skyline! Last Fri. Ty was at a school thing ALL night so I hung out at my parents house:) My mom and dad were gone so my little brother hung out with me, and it was so much fun.. He is always so much fun and I love that we are so close.. I'm sure there were lots of other things he could of done than stay at home for awhile with me! Thanks D! It made my night not so boring. I love the rest of my family too:) They are the greatest. (Ty's fam too)!



Last weekend Jake and Bryton had their annual Halloween party! It was lots of fun and good to see friends we don't see very often. Ty and I went as a UPS guy and I was the package! It was fun:)

The last couple of months we have been able to watch my little brother Derek play football for Lone Peak High School. It's been so much fun to watch him! I can't believe that it is almost over. I seriously love my brother. He is such a great example to me. Every week before his game he always goes to the temple by himself or with one of his teammates. I think that he is so cute!! He is also really good at what he does.. He plays Tight End, Defensive End, and he is the Long Snapper. He practices hard everyday, I think that it is paying off:) We love you Derek! Good luck in your last couple of games.. You can DOOO ITT!

I LOVE this show!! Ty and I have been having LOTS of date nights with Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows the last couple months. It's been so fun, but we just finished the 3rd season and I don't know what we are going to do tonight!! Oh it's sooo good... I get way too into it that I dream about it!! (weirdo... I know) It's a winner for sure.

Ty and I went to Logan this weekend for the Top of Utah Marathon!! We stayed at the Anniversary Inn since it was the same price and even cheaper than other hotels this weekend:) But lucky for us it was in the BEST location... right across from the finish line.! I have never ran this race before so I was a little nervous especially doing it alone. It was a really pretty run, but a little harder than I thought. I also got SOOOO sick at mile 20 (I don't think I'll be eating cliff blocks or gatorade for a long time!! UGH) My dad and Ty met me at mile 24 and ran with me to the end, which was so fun and I probably wouldn't have made it without them!! It was like having 2 running coaches and a photographer! I finally made it in 4 hours. I could have done better.. but really happy i finished! It was so fun to have some of my family there to cheer me on, and I am so happy they were able to come. And Ty was so great the whole weekend, and made it so much fun, even when I wanted to die. I am soooo happy the race is over and I can finally sleep and HOUR longer in the mornings, but I am so excited for the next marathon. (Hopefully it will be a better experience)

He is going to school at Utah State.. and he is living in the same house my grandpa grew up in.. weird!! and my cute family that came to support me (my dad was there too) Thanks again sooooo much for coming and waking up soooo early on a Saturday morning, it means alot!!

Merry Christmas! (a little early)

This new running toy just became my best friend! I have been BEGGING Ty for the last couple months for this Garmin. I told him it could be my early Christmas present because I want it for my race next week.. So Merry early Christmas:) I am soooo excited to use this. I'm sure everyone knows how it works.. But it tells you your pace, if you slow down it lets you know. your time, how many miles you have gone, plus more!! I don't have to clock my runs anymore with my car. Yahoo:) I have the best husband, he even bought me the new Ipod just so I had a Better one to run with. Isn't he great!? Thanks Ty! I love you so much:) can you tell how excited I am??

Labor Day Weekend!

I seriously love holidays that let you have the day off from work:) Sat. we went boating with Ty's company. We had so much fun, until Sunday when we were too sore to move.:) On Labor day we went to Salt Lake with Jake and Bryton and went shopping:) Then went to dinner. But now back to work and I'm starting school next Monday so my life is about over.. Ok not really but its going to be more busy than it is now!
