Cruising the Western Caribbean!!

Last week we went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean with my family!! We have a fun tradition that when they boys go on their missions they get to choose the last family vacation! Derek did a good job picking his trip!!! We went to Honduras, Belize, Costa Maya, and the cruise lines private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, and spent 2 fun days at sea! Ty and I have both decided this is the best way to travel.. Ty is already looking for another one to go on! The shows every night were amazing and so funny, the food was seriously to die for and all you can eat (even better), the weather was perfect and so hot, and the ports were beautiful! I took A LOT of pictures and put A LOT on here... sorry!!

I really just wanted the picture of the door! I loved the colors on this ship! They were a little crazy and bright but really cool! Our carpet in the rooms were hot pink and orange haha!

I always looked forward to dinner... they were so good! I love trying new foods and if you didn't like it you could order something different!! I miss the food... I wish I was a good cook!

Hanging out in the lounge! We went dancing!! It was the funniest thing watching the boys but we had so much fun! The band was really good!!

First stop Roatan Honduras ! This is our boat the Norwegian Jewel! Honduras was so pretty and so green! We toured the city and then went to the beach! It was so hot that we didn't last long so we came back and went shopping. The little kids there are so cute and would just come up to us and start walking with us! It was so fun! One little girl became my moms buddy and told her she was our personal shopper and the little boys love Ty, Steve, and D! Honduras was my favorite stop and these little kids made it so much more fun!!!

Eating more food!! I think we did this more than half the cruise! But i'm telling you they had the best food of all the cruises I have been on!!

Next we went to Belize City! We did a shore excursion and went zip lining and cave tubing! We had a blast!!! They place we went was called Jaguar Paw and there really are Jaguars there but lucky for us they only come out at night. I was a little worried! Before we left we ate lunch! They mostly eat rice and beans and chicken!! The rice and beans were so good! I crave them everyday!! and of course we had our cokes!!! It was a fun day!!

3rd stop was Costa Maya! I think we have been to Mexico too much! We didn't really care for this port as much! I guess a few years ago they had a hurricane and everything got wiped out so they are still trying to rebuild it! But I got my mexican coke and thats all I cared about (It's the best... really). We shopped and just hung out for the day!! I love my family they are so fun!

Eating again!! Dinner really was so fun! We usually had 2 dinners every night!! We heard the cruise moto is you need to gain a pound a day!! pretty sure we accomplished that goal!! It was worth it!

If I couldn't find Tyler I knew right where he was! Getting ice cream!! We visited this machine when we would get back on the boat, before dinner, after dinner, after the shows, and right before we would go to bed!! The funniest was Ty knew EXACTLY how to swirl the ice cream in his cone and place the sprinkles perfectly on top! (I had to get a few lessons). It was so funny! I love him so much!!

This was our last stop Great Stirrup Cay! The day was perfect! It was overcast so it wasn't hot at all, but the water was FREEZING!! There wasn't much to do but we still made it fun!!

Getting off the ship:( We really weren't too happy! We spent the day in miami with my cousins who live there! It was so fun to see them! and we got to eat really good Cuban food:)

At the airport! We had a long day of flights but made it back!! We had so much fun with the family! Thanks mom and dad for another great vacation!!! It was the best!!! and thanks Derek for choosing the trip!

Merry Christmas!!

I can't believe the Holidays have come and gone! It went way too fast and I'm not ready for normal life to start again! We had way too much fun over the break and were very busy!!

We had our annual girls Christmas party and my house this year! It was so fun to just hang out, eat lots of delicious food, and talk with the girls!! I love them! Ty left for the Vegas bowl with my dad and brother and had a blast even though it was freezing cold!

This year we spent Christmas with my family! It was Steven's first year home and Derek's last for 2 years! So it was fun being with the whole family again! Ty spoiled me like always.... I got way too much stuff!! My mom got me my first sewing machine and I can't wait! (I'm not good at all but hopefully I can get better! Ty has been hinting for me to make him something for his birthday haha)

Christmas Eve at my Grandma's! My aunt and uncle and cousins were in town too so it was lots of fun!! and yes Derek was Santa and did an awesome job hahaha it was soooo funny!! He brought us all gifts!! :)

We hung out with my family all weekend! We played games, and games, and more games! It was lots of fun! We were always doing something! Im so sad I have to wait another year:( Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

On December 10th Ang and Jake got married!!! Everything was so perfect and so pretty!!! It was so fun being apart of the wedding!:) They are the cutest and happiest couple ever. Here are lots of pictures from the wedding!!

They got married in the Mt Timp temple!! It was soooo cold!! I don't know how she didn't have a jacket on!! But they are so dang cute!! Ang and Jake met a few years ago. Kohler went to Snow College and we would go visit here a lot and luckily we did cause thats how the 2 met!! There were lots of nights Ang and I would drive down there for the night stay all night and leave at 5am to get back for work and school by 7am!! We were crazy girls but it was worth it for the cute new couple! Congrats Jake and Ang!! We love you guys:)

For the Bachlorette party we went to VEGAS and St. George!!! Ang and I left Friday afternoon and went to our favorite place for dinner... Cafe Rio:), then we did some Christmas shopping and went to a movie!! The other girls didn't get to St. George till the next morning! In Vegas we did lots of shopping at one store haha, then to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner mmmm!! Kohler sister fights so we drove to Primm and watched her:) It was really awesome (Ty was soooo jealous) just really long!! Ang and I played the penny slots haha (don't judge... we were really bored) and I won 4 dollars!! I was REALLY excited!!! It was such a fun night and weekend being with the girls!:) I love my friends:)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Last week we went to Cancun... again!! and again we LOVED every second of it:) I love that place! The weather was perfect, the food was amazing (I crave it everyday), I drank Pepsis all day long... for free, sat by the beach under the hot hot sun, and I got to be with my awesome husband everyday for a week!!

I fell in LOVE with these suckers and we just had to make a trip EVERY NIGHT to this gas station so I could get more!! seriously we need then here! They were gone before I even got home :(

Us at dinner... We stayed at an all inclusive resort with 12 restraunts... that were all so amazing!! We had a hard time picking each night.... we also got drinks all day long.. Its been rough adjusting to normal life again haha!

I LOVE coke... especially mexican coke... We made a few stops to McDonalds! They had the best drinks haha!

This is our resort that we stayed out. The outside was gorgeous!! The inside was a whole different story.... But we had fun and will never forget it!

On Thanksgiving we went to Play del Carmen! Its an hour out of Cancun and I seriously LOVE this place!! The water is so calm and clear, and the beach is so nice!It was so nice being in a swim suit, on the beach, and getting a tan in November haha! We went to a little mexican place for dinner... ya I had Nachos for my Thanksgiving dinner! They were amazing but not the same as a turkey dinner.... Though I didn't feel sick this year from eating too much food!

Last time we went to Cancun we went to Xel-Ha and so we HAD to go back again cause we love it so much! There is so much to do and they have all you can eat food all day and the most AMAZING ice cream ever!

We took SOOOO many pictures here.... Its so pretty and all natural! We also snorkeled, tubed the river, watched the dolphins, the boys swam in a cave, and just walked around! It was my favorite day!!

Ty and I have been to Cancun every year since we have been married and it keeps getting better and better! He is the best vacation partner! and we had a blast with Jake and Bryton!! Im so ready to go back! Im sick of the snow already! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! We sure did!

I'm LOVING November!!

So much has happened since my last post!! Of course last night I went to NEW MOON!! I LOVED it and its all I want to talk about:) It was amazing. My job is freaking awesome and a dentist we refer people to rented out a theater and we got to see it at 5:30!! haha:) Then of course at midnight!!! Don't you love my shirt?? I want to wear it all the time!! (I get a little too into it:) Going again tomorrow with Ty! and I can't wait!!!

We had a crazy lady give us a warning for talking and taking pictures in front of the screen! It was so funny... She even had night vision goggles watching everyone.... CRAZY!

My cousin Brian was in town so we got together and had a party!! Brian has brain cancer and is the STRONGEST person I know. He has such a positive attitude about everything. He is such a great example to me and Ty!! He has gone through so much and has turned everything into a missionary experience!! Cousins are the greatest!! I have the BEST!!!!! (both sides:)

And last.... My little "BIG" brother got his mission call!! Woot Woot!! He is going to Santiago Chile! He leaves Feb 10th! We are SO excited for him... I can't believe he is old enough to go on a mission. Derek is the best brother ever! (Both my bro's are) I love being so close with them! I am going to miss him like crazy!! Congrats D!!!!!

Well thats it for now. Ty and I are off to Cancun for the next week!!! Can't wait!!
