Cancun!!

Last week we went to Cancun to celebrate our anniversary (a couple months late). We stayed at the same hotel were we spent our honeymoon! Mike and Dyami came with us too, and it was a blast having there. I am TERRIFIED of the ocean (I don't like not knowing what is underneath me, I'm weird) But I did get in and I'm still alive. Our hotel was right on the beach so we spent most of our days there or in the pool, and our nights were out in the crazy city eating lots of Mexican food, the flee market, and playing games:) I love Mexico:)

We went to Xel-ha one day, and it was my favorite day of the trip! We snorkeled, tubed, swam in a cave, rode bikes, and ate LOTS of good food.. and the most amazing ice cream I have ever had in my life:)


By the end of the day we were so tired. These chairs were so comfortable!





Night Life in Cancun... It's one big party there.






We took a bus into Playa Del Carmen, This little town is so fun! The beach is so pretty(My camera died so i didn't get any pics). Dyami and I went snorkeling and saw a stingray! I don't think I've ever gotten out of water so fast in my life.. It was really fun though.

We had such a fun weekend with Jake and Bryton, Scott and Samara! It was The Highland Fling on Saturday so after the temple and eating at The Pie (Best pizza ever:) We watched the fire works at the park! It's so fun having such great friends.


Isn't he so cute:) He is always making me laugh! I LOVE you Ty!!

The 24th of July and VEGAS (again)

We went to Vegas again with the Sorensen's, Morse's, and Flake's. (The boys work so hard at work and win lots of fun stuff for us to do:) We stayed at the Mandalay Bay and played at the pool all day Sat. and Sun. !! and of course did some shopping. I love these weekend getaways but don't like coming home. We had a lot of fun as usual:)






My dad and I ran the 10k in S.L. the morning of the 24th. It's my 2nd year running it with him! We run together every morning and it's lots of fun.. But then out of nowhere my dad is full on sprinting in the race... I kept up with him for the first couple miles but then told him to go.. He was too fast for me. But we finished really close and he ran in with me.. It was really cool. I'm glad he was there to push me.. cause it's the fastest I've ever ran 6 miles:)

C- Cake or Pie? Chocolate cake from costco. I could eat the whole cake by myself its sooo good. (we even put it on the top of our wedding cake and just added extra frosting so it matched.. mmm i wanted to take it with us)

D- Day of choice? SATURDAY!! I get to spend all day with ty.

E- Essential item? My purse. I take it everywhere, even if im just going next door to my parents.

H- Hometown?- I lived in Taylorsville (S.L.) half my life then moved to Highland. So I would probably say Highland as my home town.

I- Favorite Indulgence?- Cafe Rio (ha ha) and chocolate costco cake!!

J- January or July?- JULY!! I hate being cold:)

K- Kids?- Not yet..

L- Life isn't complete without? My husband, the gospel, and family/good friends

M- Marriage date? May 17th, 2008:)

N- Number of brothers and sisters? I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters!

O- Oranges or Apples- I like both, apples are easier to eat but i love oranges (if someone peels them for me)

P- Phobia and fears? I am soo scared of loosing someone I love. When I was younger (and even now) I would be so scared when my parents or brothers and sisters would go out of town. It makes me sick thinking about it, I start to cry. And especially if something was to happen to ty.. I could not handle that.

Q- Quote? "I don't run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days" (I don't know who that quote is by but I really like it)

R- Reasons to smile?- Ty:), Having the day off, family, vacations, and running!!

S- Season of choice- I love the summer, but I also really like the fall.

U- Unknown fact about me- I am a clean freak! I can't go to bed without a clean room, and I can't leave the house till its clean. But I sure can make a mess fast.. especially when getting ready! I got this lovely trait from my mother!

V- Vegetable? Green beans!!

W- Worst Habit?- I love gum and bubble gum and I chew way too much of it! (I'm working on it though, after 2 root canals I think I am finally learning a lesson)

X- Ray or Ultrasound?- I have never had a x-ray but have had lots of ultrasounds. But hopefully the next ultrasound I have will be for a GOOD reason, and not too soon:) so Ill say ultrasound!!

Anderson Family Vacation

This last week my family took a vacation to San Francisco and Yosemite! It was so much fun:) We went to the Oakland Temple (it was Kirsten's first time doing baptisms), and spent 2 days touring the city!! We went shopping (they had GREAT shopping), walked around Fishermans Warf, and lots of other fun stuff in the crazy city.


We also went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! I love theme parks, and this was fun because it had lots of shows and awesome rides, and lots of animals:) Then we even made it back to the hotel in time to watch the Bachelorette! (I don't think the boys appreciated this as much as us girls)


Then we drove to Yosemite for 2 days! It was lots of fun but such a LONG drive:)


Then we spent on night in Reno to make the drive home not so long... Then home the next day. We had such a blast! I seriously love my family, They are so much fun to be around. Thanks mom and dad for such a fun trip!
