Road Trip!

Last weekend Ty, my brother Derek, and I took a road trip to Vegas! Derek had a football camp down there! Ty's sister Amy was so nice and let us stay with her family. We had lots of fun playing with our cute nephews, eating at in and out, and lots of shopping! We spent most of our days with Derek at his camp and he did awesome! It was lots of fun being there with him. My dad flew in on Sunday morning to watch my bro in his final competition at the camp! We even got to go to dinner with my friend Kristen and her cute family! Just as we were about to take off and come home our car broke down! Just our luck, I know. After a long couple hours trying to fix the stupid thing, We decided to rent a car and get home! (It was my first real day of work, my intern hours are FINALLY done, and I didn't want to miss it:) It was a LONG night! Lucky Ty and Derek slept the whole time, But my dad and I had some good long father daughter bonding time! (I have no idea what we talked about haha, I was really tired, but somehow stayed awake and got to work the next day!) So now we are down to one car, and it REALLY stinks! But other than that it was a really fun trip!

Weekend Fun!

We had a great weekend with our friends... as always! We went to Sparks and got drinks:) Way fun..! Then to Comedy Sports, that was sooo funny. I love that place. We also dragged our husbands to Bride Wars, which was really cute and funny! I don't think the boys would agree, but they were good sports to go! I'm so sad the weekend is over and I have to wait another week till Friday again! Hope everyone else had a good weekend:)

Happy New Year!

We have had a busy, but fun and relaxing week with time off!! We took my little sisters and a friend to see Marley and Me and then to Cafe Rio one day! It was lots of fun. Ty's sister and her family came in on Wed. so we spent New Years Eve with the fam eating lots of food and playing games. We played games with my family on New Years Day then spent the night and rest of the week with the Sorensen's. Our cute nephew Mason turned 6 on Friday! So we had a birthday party for him that night, and of course watched the Utah game! It was a fun week and I'm not excited to go back to work and start our crazy life again. Happy New Years!

Christmas!

We spent Christmas with the Sorensens this year, and had a blast! We ate lots of yummy food and played lots of games, watched movies and had a sleep over:) Ty spoiled me this Christmas with lots of fun stuff. I love him! We celebrated tonight with my family because they just got home from Hawaii! It was fun eating and hanging out with them again (ONE week is a really long time for me not to see them haha). We will celebrate again when Ty sister Amy and her family come in town this week:) I love this season!!

I also wanted to tell my mom Happy Birthday!! You are the greatest mom ever! Even though you are leaving me for the first time over Christmas to go to Hawaii, I still love you! (But still mad:) I hope you have a great day. You deserve it!! You do soooooo much for me and I don't know what I would do without you. Thanks for being my best friend and always being there for me! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Christmas Parties and Gingerbread Houses!

I love this time of year!! It's already been crazy as ever, but so fun! I finished school on Thursday! :) and have started my internship. It's been fun but a little stressful getting the hang of things! I had a Christmas party with most of my girlfriends from highschool this weekend.. It was so fun hanging out with them!! Everyone was there except ang (she is in Germany on a mission!) Then we had the Anderson family Christmas party. We got in groups and raced santa sleighs... Ours was awesome, but didn't win.. o well.. next year Rach and Steph!! we did white elephants, had a nativity program and ate good food! Then we made gingerbreads with my grandma and some of my cousins. We do this every year and its so fun!! We have been busy this weekend but cant wait for more! I love Christmas:)

Thanksgiving!

This year for Thanksgiving we had lots of family in town! It was so much fun and I am so sad the break is over. I didn't have school or work so it was nice being able to spend lots of time with the family!! We did lots of shopping, eating out (We went to cafe rio sooo many times), cooking, playing games, preparing for BLACK FRIDAY, made tu tu's, family pictures, and played more games! I have the greatest familY!
