*Busy Month*

Phew.. We had a busy month!.. Get ready for a LLLLOOONNNGGGG post!

Maughns Halloween Party! We had a blast! We dressed up as a bank robber and the loot! It was fun and super easy! I get excited to dress up then once its time I kind of get lame and don't care anymore! But we had lots of fun getting our costume together!

The Party!! Everyone had such good costumes! Flakes took home the "best costume" trophy! They are so funny and creative!!

Halloween Half Marathon!! My brother Steven, his wife Suany, Ty, my dad, and Cousin Lauri ran Saturday morning! It was so fun watching them! Ty was the only one in the group that dressed up (as batman), but there were some AWESOME and really funny costumes!! My dad did amazing, like always, Ty rocked it for hardly any training (under 2 hrs!!), Lauri just had a baby and hardly trained either and did so awesome! Steven and Suany just wanted to finish and they did great!! We already planned the whole family doing it next year!! CAN'T WAIT!

So proud of him! Can't wait to run with him and meet our two boys at the end:)!

YIKES!! My cute cousins.. we are all about 2 months apart!! Its so fun, except I am HUGE!! Nicole is 9 weeks, Aly is 22 weeks, I am 26 weeks! Aren't my cousins cute:)

26 weeks! Twin A is a mover and goes almost all day long! Twin B is mellow as can be! My doctor think he just kicks his brother all day because he is facing him! Both are about 2 lbs each and healthy as can be! I am soooo in love with them! and I LOVE being pregnant and am so grateful I can carry these 2 little guys!

and this is why I am SOOO excited for 2 boys! Seriously these 2 are the CUTEST little boys ever! Nixon and Brox! They keep us laughing! I think Ty even has a crush on them too!

Couples trip to ST GEORGE!! Ash Wood's parents have such a nice vacation home in St George and were so nice to let us stay there again! We had a little drama on the way down after our car broke down in Beaver (we are bad luck on road trips... seriously)! After trying to figure out what to do for over an hour we left our car there and piled in the Flakes car! 2 babies, 3 couples, plus ALL the luggage.. made for a good laugh! But we pulled it off and we made it!

Nixon was REALLY excited to be at Brick Oven:) The girls table.. My friends are Gorgeous, I know!!

It was such nice weather.. The boys swam a lot!

Us girls went to Thriller at the Tuachan! We had SOO much fun... like always! I think it has to be a new tradition!!

We also hiked the Narrows, went shopping, played games, layed out, ate lots of food, and had a blast! I am so lucky to have such fun friends:)

October... Halloween!

I LOVE this time of year! I wish it could be October forever:) (ok not really)! Besides being sick with a horrible cold (that won't go away) for the last week and a half, and Ty getting food poisoning we have been super busy playing and celebrating Halloween!!

We took a Halloween Cruise down the Provo River with the Flakes! They told jokes, and ghost stories, and even had pirates! Thank goodness we did not pay full price on this! It was pretty lame, but we got a good laugh and it was fun to get out and try something new! They have one at Christmas with Santa... hmmm pretty tempting... not!! :)

Jones had their Halloween party again this year! They know how to plan a party, cause it was SO MUCH FUN!! We were put in groups of 4 and were all on missions to finish first! We had to swim in a lake, eat a worm, climb a tree, and come back in costume all within 2 hours... plus find lots more stuff on the way!! Katie and I even found a tombstone with someone who died on October 31st! :) Thanks Katie and Braydn for hosting such a fun party!! It gets better every year!!

Mike, Ash, Jed, and Jess... They came back as Siegfried and Roy! So funny! Their costumes were so clever.. we had a tight budget!!

Megan, Brett, Braydn, and Linds! They were the Teletubbies! Their costumes were awesome too!

My bestie since highschool, Angie, just found out she is having a little girl:) She is 5 weeks behind me and it's so fun!! We already have one of our boys married off to her! So excited for Ang and Jake!

Livin' the Good Life...

I promise I am still married.. I just realized most these pics are without Ty:) He is missing out on half the fun!! We are staying busy with projects around the house, and getting ready for the two little guys to move in:)!! I can't believe how fast time is going by.. We still have lots to do in the next couple months, but I am loving every minute of it!

GIRLS NIGHT!! Love these girlies so much! We had such a fun night eating and shopping, like always!

Dyami, Nicole, and I picked up a new hobby while the boys are at work.. HIKING! We love it!! Especially before it got so cold outside! June was such a trooper this hike, she walked the whole way! Jett loved riding on his moms back. Wish we would have done hikes over the summer.. Next year!

I know i'll regret putting this pic on here.. But it was for my little brother in Chile (who says I am fat.. nice)! 22 weeks and only going to get bigger! YIKES!! They kick like crazy, I love it! One little guy is very active ALL the time, and the other is pretty calm and just moves enough to let me know he is still there! I am loving being pregnant, but I am so excited for them to get here! I keep telling Ty he has some competition cause I am in love with the 2 little guys!! (and so is their grandma A:)

We are LOVING Ryan and Nicole living so close to us!! We hiked the "Y" last weekend! It was our first time.. and it was harder than I thought. But we all made it:)

My cute cousin Beau just got back from his mission! Its so fun having him home... Isn't he so dang cute! Beau and my brother Derek are BFF's and Derek only has 4 months lefT! Woohoo:) We all can't wait!

Before Beau got home my cousin Mikail flew in from Wyoming where she is going to school, we thought we should make her a sign too and give her a big welcome home! All of us crazy girls:) My mom, G-ma, sisters B and K, and Aunt Laurie!

My cute mother and sister in law threw me my first baby shower... It was so fun, Ty has the NICEST family ever... I am sad I didn't get a pic with the hosts! But we got some awesome stuff and were very spoiled!

Michigan and Chicago!!

Ty and I just got back from a week long trip to Michigan and Chicago!! We had SO much fun!! Ty served his mission in Michigan and we knew if we didn't make the trip back now, it probably wouldn't happen! I am so happy we did it:) It was so fun seeing where he spent 2 years of his life.. and he was so excited to be back, which made it even better:)!!

Lucky for us my cousin lives in Grand Rapids, (where Ty served 15 months of his mission) and was so nice to let us stay with her. She took us to the Green Well the first night to eat.. and it was delicious!! Then Ty showed us around town... a little ghetto in some parts!

Ty's first apartment.. doesn't look too bad:) But apparently the inside is pretty bad!

The next day Ty showed me more of the area in the light, and then we went to the John Ball zoo! He had done lots of service here, (I even have a few pics from the mission that he sent me, we wrote a few times as friends:) and it was something to do:)

Lucky Ty, he got to ride a camel!! It was a pretty dumb ride, but at least he can say he has rode a camel! I was a little jealous!!

That night we had a BBQ with some members that Ty spent a lot of time with! Everyone loves Ty!! They cooked us some really good authentic food, and we played Michael Jackson dance dance! Ty loved this family! Everyone was super nice, and it was fun to finally put a face to the names!

We drove to Traverse City where Ty spent a few months in the area. The town was soo cute! I think I could live there. The beaches were so pretty! It looked like a scene from the movies! We saw a few light houses, japanese lanterns, shopped, went to dinner, and drove around. We stayed the night there with plans the next day but it was pouring rain:(

Another family that Ty loved in Traverse City had us over for lunch before we went back to Grand Rapids. Seriously AMAZING! She made homemade flour tortillas that were to die for and meat and rice (she didn't know what the meat was it was really funny, but so good)! They were the sweetest, happiest family! The parents don't speak much english but tried so hard with me there! (I'm going to learn spanish... I'm sure I looked really dumb trying to get into the conversations haha) We had a blast seeing the Estradas!

This is one of the families Ty baptized, the Mendez! Ty was SOOO excited to see them and know they are still active and going to church! They were such a sweet family! The parents don't speak english either, but the kids were so nice to translate everything for me! I loved hearing all the good things they had to say about Ty! They didn't want us to leave! and of course they made us some really good food! Ty never went hungry while he was there, everyone cooks so good!! We also went to church and saw lots of other people Ty taught! After hearing so many stories while dating, and while being married its so nice knowing where he was and who he was talking about...!!

Cutest town in Michigan, (besides Traverse City) is Holland... I loved it! Right on the beach, people were fishing, swimming, riding bikes, running, flying kites.. So cute! If I lived there I would be in Holland every day!! It was so cute! I just wish it was a little warmer the day we were there!

CHICAGO!! The last 2.5 days we spent in Chicago!! We ate the BEST pizza, and cheese bread ever! and I can't remember the name of the place, but it was so packed because it was so good!

On Tuesday we walked everywhere... We saw the bean of course, then walked to beach front (which was awesome.. it was a running/walking/biking trail with nike signs telling you the miles... I want one here) to the Navy Pier!

The Navy Pier was fun! Had cute shops, rides, and good food! But we didn't stay long cause we wanted to go shopping!

Eating some McDonalds... Can't believe I am admitting this.. but their hamburgers are SO SO good!!! Ty will get them and I end up eating most of it:)

Our hotel was right on the magnificant mile, where all the shopping is! I was in HEAVEN!

and of course we had to go to a Cubs baseball game.. It was FREEZING cold! I think I was the only one there with 2 jackets, and 2 blankets.. But I know the girl next to me was jealous! It was cold and windy!! But we still had fun.. :)

The next day we flew back home! It was so fun to go just the 2 of us! We always have so much fun together!!

Sorry this is so long and kind of boring!! Had to document everything though!!!

~summer~

I feel like our summer flew right by! We have done lots of fun things, but sadly I haven't taken many pictures! We have had lots of family in town, lots of short weekend getaways, lots of time at the pool, BBQ's, camping, and just hanging out! It's gone by way to fast! But I am so ready for the fall, I can hardly wait for it to start cooling down again!

Ty might kill me for posting this picture, but he broke his hand the other night playing flag football, and ended up needing surgery! I feel so bad cause it was his 1st game of the season and he was so excited! But he says he will be the water boy for the team instead! He is a trooper and so tough.. (I'm the biggest wimp alive when it comes to pain) he has only complained once about his hand hurting him!

Ash's parents have the coolest backyard. We had a camp out back there and it was seriously so much fun! I forget how much I like to camp:) We even saw the cutest owl in the middle of the night! Me, Dyami, Katie, Jess, her 2 cute girls Tae and Savy, and Ash!! The boys were there to just no picture!

A bunch of us went to Lava Hot Springs, thanks to Jess and Matt, and had a blast! We ate really good food, went tubing down the river, played lots of games, stayed up late, went on walks, got ice cream, played our own version of minute to win it, and just relaxed! Love getaways with friends! We had so much fun:)

We also went to East Canyon with my family for a weekend! Last time going with out my cute brother on a mission!! We all can't wait to go again with the whole family!!:)

I don't know what happened to Ty but he loves running half marathons.. I think he is trying to make me jealous! Can't wait to run one with him:) Him and my dad rocked the Timp half, and us girls and Ty's parents had fun watching them at different parts in the race. I even got to run for a second with Ty!!
